As a Tapcart Solutions and Services Engineer, you will collaborate with our client success and engineering teams to develop Custom Blocks efficiently and accurately. You will play a crucial role in building Custom Blocks and React web apps for existing and prospective clients, ensuring a seamless user journey and enhancing the overall mobile app experience.
Responsibilities
Providing Technical Support:
- Assist clients in building and customizing their mobile apps using the Tapcart platform.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Custom Blocks and provide prompt, effective technical support.
- Utilize problem-solving skills and platform knowledge to resolve client issues quickly, ensuring a smooth development process.
Understanding Client Needs for Custom Blocks:
- Work closely with clients to understand their unique requirements and specifications, including design.
- Provide expert guidance on building and customizing Custom Blocks within the Tapcart platform.
- Communicate with clients to align their app vision with Tapcart's capabilities.
Building and Customizing Custom Blocks:
- Develop and customize Custom Blocks and react.js apps to meet client-specific requirements.
- Enhance app features and user experience through customized functionality.
- Develop and train internal and external partner engineers on best practices to deliver clean code for merchants.
Collaborating with Engineering Team:
- Collaborate with Tapcart's engineering team to ensure seamless development and delivery of Custom Blocks.
- Identify and report bugs or issues related to Custom Blocks.
- Contribute to effective solutions and work alongside the engineering team to implement fixes and improvements to the Developer Tools platform.
Staying Updated on Mobile App Development and Custom Blocks:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development and Custom Blocks and react.js apps.
- Continuously expand knowledge through research, conferences, and engagement with the developer community.
- Provide the best possible support and guidance to Tapcart's clients, ensuring their apps remain cutting-edge and competitive.
Aligning with Merchants and Partners:
- Engage with merchants and partners who use Tapcart's Developer Tools.
- Build strong relationships and open communication with stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative environment and drive continuous improvement of Tapcart's platform and services.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of front-end web development within the e-commerce space with 3-5 years of experience.
- Must have: extensive experience with React.js, React Hooks, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, REST APIs
- Nice to have: proficiency in, GraphQL, Shopify Storefront/Admin API frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide effective technical support.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and other stakeholders.
- Keen interest in staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
