    Hi, my name is Megan and I'm a teacher here at Treehouse. 0:09
    We're going to talk about how to present an analysis. 0:13
    But first things first, before you start creating a presentation, 0:17
    you need to consider who your audience is. 0:22
    Audience is the persons who will listen to or 0:25
    read your presentation. 0:30
    For instance, if I worked with data relating to student test scores, I 0:33
    would present the information differently depending on who my audience is. 0:38
    If I'm presenting to students, they will probably want to know the range of grades, 0:44
    like how many students got A's, B's, etc. 0:50
    If I got a C and most of the class got a C, then I'll probably feel 0:54
    differently about my grade than I did before that information. 0:59
    Whereas if I were presenting the information to teachers, 1:04
    knowing the range of scores is important, but what is probably more 1:08
    important to them is which topics or skills had the most incorrect answers. 1:13
    This would let me as a teacher know that I probably need to go over that skill or 1:19
    topic again. 1:24
    Before creating a presentation, clearly define who your audience is. 1:25
    Who will be listening to or reading the presentation? 1:32
    What information will be important to them? 1:37
    Is there anything they want to know specifically? 1:41
    If you're able to, you can ask audience members if they have any 1:44
    information they're looking for before you create the presentation. 1:48
    Gather as much information about your audience as you need to feel 1:53
    comfortable creating a presentation geared towards them. 1:58
