I'm Ryan Mouser, the Content & Community Marketing Specialist here at Treehouse. My pronouns are he/him. I was 15 years old when I started learning to code in PHP for a popular text-based MMORPG game.
I've been with Treehouse for over 3 years now and have had the amazing opportunity to wear many different hats. I've been learning with Treehouse since 2015 (you can check out my previous profile here).
Outside of Treehouse ā I love to play/write/produce music, take long walks, and kayak.
You can connect with me on LinkedIn here. Looking forward to connecting with y'all!

My favorite JavaScript framework? does jQuery count? haven't touched JavaScript in a long time tbh, lately I've been focusing on Python.
Coding may as well be a hobby for me, as I have no industry contacts and haven't worked up the courage to make any
The only program I've coded that I use everyday a simple talk to text console program. (helps read those long boring articles that I don't have any choice but to read)
My goal is to join the software community and make friends, gain agency & grow.

689 PointsHey y'all! Doing this a few days after Thursday but figured why not? :D
My name is Chris - I've been a marketing & project manager for a little over a decade now. I've been around more advanced coding for projects for several years and felt like I could barely understand it. I learned a little bit here and there but wanted a better grasp on the languages so I've officially started my journey here with C# and iit's been great so far.
I do have aspirations of branching out in to other languages but had wanted to start there as I'd like to give a go ad developing my own video games and see where that takes me.
Outside of coding and my normal job I love being adventurous outdoors and paddle boarding, flying drones, and mountain biking.
