I'll kick things off! πŸ’¬

I'm Ryan Mouser, the Content & Community Marketing Specialist here at Treehouse. My pronouns are he/him. I was 15 years old when I started learning to code in PHP for a popular text-based MMORPG game. I've been with Treehouse for over 2 years now and have had the amazing opportunity to wear many different hats. I've been learning with Treehouse since 2015 (you can check out my previous profile here).

Currently, I'm working alongside our world-class team on some exciting opportunities to bring the Treehouse Community closer together. Stay tuned! πŸ˜€

Outside of Treehouse, I have the joy of living life with my incredible wife, our 3 awesome kids, and our 2 cat furbabies. We love to make music, garden, cook, play games, and watch fun TV.

You can connect with me on LinkedIn here. Looking forward to connecting with y'all!

Hoping you all stay safe, healthy, and well!

I am currently learning the front end web development track and building my first portfolio website. See linkedin link below to view my website.

I'm Sarah. I'm an academic at heart. A habitual student learning and improving my metacognition. Also, I am interested in improving my understanding of computer science. Data structures and algorithms across multiple programming languages enthralls me.

I am currently working on my first project which is building a portfolio website of all current and future projects. See my linkedin profile for more information.

I'm so thrilled to start sharing more of myself and documenting my journey with all of you.

For the longest time I've had the wrong perceptions on math. I had a math phobia. In the past I dislike math only because I had poor self image in my own abilities to master mathematics and I didn't have the motivation or support from my peers to enable me to be confident in mastering it.

Now my perception has changed. I like that doing math problems creates new neural pathways and expands cognitive capabilities in the brain.

I love the learning process and find joy in the challenge of it.

I am currently working on building a responsive layout webpage for the unit 2 project. I had to take some time off from coding to work on my job search, networking, and job applications, and other priorities so I haven't made much progress with the project or moved past unit 2 yet. But I showed up today, at my laptop, ready to do what I can in the time I have!

Greetings from sunny Florida! I'm Erika and I am on the FEWD journey. I started a little over a month ago. I am working towards changing my career from librarian to FEWD. I am slowly pressing my way through Unit 2 of the program and currently learning CSS. I have a variety of hobbies that I enjoy besides learning new things. I enjoy running, yoga, spending time with my dog Jubilee (you can see her pretty face in my profile picture), reading (my favorite genres are Sci-Fi, Fantasy and manga), helping out at my church, playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, watching Disney movies, coloring, and building LEGO sets. This is my LinkedIn and Twitter Nice to meet you all and thank you for sharing your stories! I hope to see you all at the Treehouse Festival next month!

Hey, Erika Davis! I finished Ready Player One and put down some thoughts about it! It was very entertaining. Totally a page turner! Still finding ways to watch the Spielberg movie though :)) I don't know how closely it will match with the book

Glad to hear you enjoyed reading Ready Player One, Andy! I thought the movie was very entertaining.

I have been on Team Treehouse now for a couple months, working thru FSJS track. Today I took a leap of faith and signed up for the Tech degree FSJS trail!

I've been building and deleting over and over my own personal profile website. The very first version was hideous! It looked like I time traveled back to 2000 and was using a Netscape browser and using dial up internet. Every time I wipe my page clean and start over it starts looking better and better.

My current version can be found here https://ccarver80.github.io/Website/ I just started this one and still needs more work.

A few of my other projects I have made include

https://ccarver80.github.io/ColorChangerApp/

https://ccarver80.github.io/Door-Chooser/

My hobbies include computer programing, fishing, selling things on eBay, garage sales (to find stuff to sell on eBay), astronomy (i own a pretty big telescope and love looking at planets and starts), disk golf, regular golf, and darts.
