2,615 PointsWhy do I get a message that says Oops! It looks like Task 1 is Next Step no longer passing.
It´s the second time its happend I do the code challenge and in the second step of the challenge when I submit the answer it tells me Oops! It looks like Task 1 is Next Step no longer passing. When i get wrong the second step it does tell me it´s wrong and when I pass to the second step it tells me its correct.

name = "Thomas"
That's literally all the first task is asking you to grasp. You should complete the second task without altering or deleting the code (written above) that you wrote for your first task. Hope this helps!

Since the checker re-tests the other steps in order, a newly-introduce syntax error will make all the steps fail, so it will say "Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing.". The code that previously passed may be unchanged, but the syntax error confuses the testing mechanism.
For a more complete analysis, show your code.

Python Web Development Techdegree Graduate 58,248 PointsYou need to post your code to help spot the error. It is most likely a syntax error (i.e spelling mistake) in your new code if you have not changed the code that passed task 1.
