So I am just wondering... Is there a way to know the real, actual location of a server in the real tangible world by having its IP?
Thanks haha.

231,269 PointsOnline vendors often look up your IP to see which connection provider it belongs to, and then assume that you are located near the provider's physical point of presence. This works reasonably well as an approximation much of the time but it can be very wrong when you are tied into a large corporate or government network. For example, when working on location at a government office in Puerto Rico, web sites using this technique mistook me for being located in Washington, DC.
