Add code inside the <script> tags to write the words "Welcome to my site" onto the web page.

It is because there is not script tags and your not writing anything. There is simply script tag in your code. You need to use document write and h1 tags are not required to pass nor does it say to add them.

I advise that you rewatch the videos, as you are using neither javascript, and part of your html (the script tags is wrong). So let's help you out shall we! :D

you needed to use the document.write method to add the text to your website.

also you didn't have an opening script tag, only a closing one, so it wouldn't have worked anyway.
