Adding a Space Between First and Last Name

How can I add a space between the first and last name in string $fullName?

$fullname .= $lastName;

When you create the fullName variable, that's the best place to insert the space:

$firstName = "Rasmus";
$lastName = "Lerdorf";
$fullname = $firstName . " " . $lastName;

I tried something similar to your code with only one period, which is why I probably had a problem.
