General Discussion

After failing to answer challenge questions correctly multiple times, why isn't the solution given?!

Just a suggestion.... When I click on the help button, I am prompted to submit a question. But how long will I have to wait for a reply!? After 4/5 wrong guesses the answer should be displayed!!

Hi there! The response time to your question can depend greatly on the difficulty of the challenge at hand and the time when you post it. When you post your question to the Community you are asking for the help of fellow students to assist you. There are many of us who look forward to doing just that as it is also a learning opportunity for us. Because students span the globe, you might manage to post a question on an advanced topic when many are asleep or at work. That happens. That being said, for more basic questions, it generally doesn't take more than a couple of hours to receive a response.

Simply displaying an answer would not be an optimal way of approaching this, in my opinion. It might be able to explain why that answer is correct, but it will never be able to explicitly tell you why yours is incorrect, thus, diminishing the learning experience as a whole. Being incorrect is part of the learning experience and is absolutely essential. The whole idea of being here is to learn. You have access to literally thousands of fellow students who truly want to help.

Best of luck with your coding endeavors! :sparkles:
