I created a new alertDialog as asked and then tried to return the variable.......Why am I getting an invalid type error?

Courses Plus Student 7,254 PointsThe method onCreateDialog returns a Dialog, as indicated after the "public" for the method. Right now, you are returning 'build' which is an object of the AlertDialog.Builder class. You can use your builder object to create a Dialog object using builder.create();
