3,737 PointsAm I Ready For Android?
The recommended prerequisites for this course are: Java Basics, Java Objects and Java Data Structures. I have finished Java Basics and Java Objects but I have not started Java Data Structures. Will I be okay through this course? I am very anxious to start building for Android. Thanks in advance!

13,817 PointsI say go for it , I took Java at school and later on the classes turned to Android development, while I was not very proficient at it, the two are basically the same, obviously you will find yourself using new libraries, functions , methods and getting used to fitting everything on the screen of the device or the emulator. If you ever find yourself struggling with data structure you can always go back and check the skipped course. Even tho some data structures are taken naturally by some developers.

15,193 PointsExactly what Carlos said. I started Android before learning Java--don't ask me why. In the end I now know android better than I do Java, but both I am proficient enough to get internship offers.
