anchor tag, to top of page

can not put my anchor tag to scroll up to the top of the page.

To make an anchor jump to the top of the page it should be more like

<a href=“#”>

The pound or hash symbol will do the trick!

It appears you are missing an equals sign as well as the pound or hash sign! Here is what it should look like:

<a href="#top"> Go back to the top of the page.</a>

Don't forget to put the 'Go back to the top of the page' text where you have inserted a period.
