Android Development Techdegree Tips

I am new to the Android Development Techdegree. Would anyone have any tips or advice on how to successfully complete the program?

Practice what you've learned after each section in a chapter. A problem I had was moving on before I REALLY knew exactly what I was doing. The projects do a very good job of making sure that you can't move on until you truly understand.
