Any other text editor that works like Treehouse's "Workspace" recommendation?

I'm just going into the Web Design/Front End Web Dev track and have been using the workspace provided by treehouse while doing the courses which works fine but is there any recommendation that I can try out that works similar or better (and maybe user friendlier for a beginner) than the treehouse where I can use offline?

I'd go with Sublime text. It's free and quite comfortable to use. The interface looks similar to the workspace's. Look also for packages like "emmet" that will make you work faster by letting you just type the tag name, press tab and create the tag, among many other shortcuts. In Youtube there is a series of tutorials for sublime text that I checked recently to remember how to select multiple lines at once (a thing that the treehouse workspace does as well). Any text editor will let you make html, and Adobe has its own software (dreamweaver), but I'm not to fond of it.

I hope I was of help (:

P.S the tutorials I browsed were from LearnWebCode if you want to take a look.
