Are there any tuts or future planned tuts for free PhotoShop alternatives like InkScape around? At current I don't have the experience or confidence to shell the sort of money PhotoShop demands! OR if anyone recommend a good site for such tutorials that would be awesome too :D

Here are a few for starters. These are for GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program). It is free software that can do "everything" Photoshop can do. It has been around for years so there is a lot of documentation available; lots of stuff on Youtube too.
