Asynchronous tasks

Hey.. I watched the videos on building a weather app and understood everything including asynchronous processing, and then i added a button that takes me to a different activity so when i press on that button before the data loads completely from the web and display on the screen i get an error and the app shuts down. do you what might the problem be and how can i solve it? thank you
