At what point will I have learned enough to build clients sweet looking websites as a freelancer?

Daniel, completing the Web Design track will help you get started on your endeavors. Learning the content isn't enough, however, you need to put the new knowledge to practice. Try looking at companies and businesses in your own community that you think could use some sprucing up. Create a webpage on your own portfolio website dedicated to that business as a sample-it makes for some great practice.

Once you feel you can build a website efficiently and beautifully then you're on your way. It will depend on the clients you take on that will determine what you can or cannot build. You can probably make a page for a small business with contact info, product info, etc. but maybe you can't build a bank website that requires JavaScript and encryption or secured connections to start off so it all just depends on what you're ready to take on. Try starting one for a family member or yourself and see how you do.

Seriously. You'll need it. That's been my biggest hold-up in finding web design work is that I'm only just learning JavaScript.
