background image size

how to align header background picture into full screen if the dimensions of my picure are different from my header element size. (if i put cover that cut my edges of picture) pls help

If you want your background image to be fully responsive on fixed height header, there's no way fully show on all screen sizes. Cover scales background image so that it always fills container. If you want your header height to change based on background image, you can use background image as normal image and absolute position other header content over the image.
