const p = document.querySelector('p').textContent sets p to the text content of <p class="info">hi</p>, which in this case is "hi". const inputValue = document.querySelector('input').value sets inputValue to the value of the input element, which in this case is "sample text". inputValue.innerHTML=p sets the property innerHTML of the string "sample text" to "hi", which does not appear to have any effect.

The challenge is expecting document.querySelector('p').textContent to be given the value inputValue, so that the text in the paragraph will depend on what is typed in the input element.
