124 Pointsbefore_action :set_post performance
Does the before_action :set_post approach save anything in terms of performance, or is it strictly to provide cleaner code?

Treehouse TeacherI haven't benchmarked anything (I doubt anyone outside the Rails core team has), but I'm guessing that before_action
calls actually impose a very (very) small performance penalty by requiring a couple extra method calls. So yes, the main goal is cleaner code.
