Beginner Android Interactive Story App

I'd like to know if anyone else here is finding the interactive Story app a bit demanding especially for beginner level? I would love if the lecturer could explain things through different conceptual lens in order to understand certain aspects.

Hi Pat,

I won't go into too much detail about Ben's style as each teacher is individual as to how they approach their courses but know that you're not alone in being overwhelmed by it all. Unfortunately, programming isn't easy and is going to take some work to get to grips with it all.

It's especially hard when you have a brain like mine :)

But here's a couple of tips that I think may help you. (I don't know if you do this as part of your workflow but I'll mention them anyway :) )

Firstly Write things down you think may be important. If you think you need to retain the information... it'll help.

One of the things Craig Dennis likes to mention in his courses is the ability to slow down videos you're watching if you think an instructor is going too fast. It works both ways so you can speed things up too. Treehouse teachers have a lot to mention in their course so they will carry on, knowing that the videos give the tools for you to pause, or slow down or go at your own pace.

Above all.... just practice, and if there's a specific piece of code you're struggling with, your teachers and treehouse community are always here for you. :-)
