PHP

Best to learn in 2017: PHP, Python, Ruby or JavaScript?

Hi Guys,

I am wondering wich language to learn in 2017? I am already in the PHP track and build some fun webapplications. But I am always thinking for the future so, wich language will be the best to learn for backend webdevelopment in 2017?

Thank you for your feedback!

Honestly there is no such thing as the best language to learn. Languages are tools, and you need to use the right tool for the job. Think of it in that context. If you like PHP I'd say go for it, 45% of the web is written in PHP. In the end it's really about what you are trying to accomplish and not the language itself.
