Best way to use Git on Windows 10

So Windows Git has the option for a GUI version, is this better for us WIN10 users? I 've spent the last two nights trying to get GitBash to work and have had no success even getting something to commit

Would love some outside input here

I recommend knowing the console commands to use it. Having said that, there is a great open source GUI called GIT extensions that I recommend. You can get it from the github page for GIT extensions. It is easy to work with and can save you time.
