Billing Problem "Bummer! We Kwesi Arhinwere unable to authorize payment on your card."

I subscribed to the Pro memebership and used my American Express card for subsequent billing. After the trial, I had a message that I have an overdue payment and Treehouse could not charge me with my existing details. I contacted my Card company and they indicated that Treehouse charged my card six times but for 1 euro only and they were all authorized. I then contacted Treehouse support and they asked me to contact my Card company which I already did (no problem at that end). Now I cannot update my billing process as it always returns "Bummer! We were unable to authorize payment on your card." Because of this I have lost 3 days of valuable learnng time. Is there any headway to this?
