Bootstrap to Wordpress

I have designed a few websites and am pretty familiar with Wordpress. I am just getting into using Bootstrap but am confused on how it works from a visual point of view. I am currently trying to design a site using the framework and I am going to be working with a developer who is familiar with converting a Bootstrap site to a Wordpress template.

What is the best way to design wireframes for the developer? Is there a specific grid to adhere to? Will I need to actually code in any of the design?

Bootstrap as is own grid css of full 1200px width. You can find Bootstrap 3 responsive grid psd templates base on their grid css. Here is a link that provides that psd http://www.minimit.com/articles/tips-resources/bootstrap-3-responsive-grid-psd-templates. I hope it help.
