Guil Hernandez Yet another Amazing series! I love the way you break things down and make everythign seem so simple.
I took your Sass course earlier and am wondering which you prefer for your own personal projects and why? Bootstrap or Sass?
From what I've observed Bootstrap allows for faster builds and seems less prone to errors being that its developed by a team. Bootstrap also includes JavaScript which is great if you don't know JS. Bootstrap takes up more space because it uses an entire library and you may use only a small portion of the library so there's wasted space? I'm actually unclear on the last point.
Sass on the other hand can make for cleaner HTML markup and allows for more control over the design of your website, which is a good thing, but only if you're good with layout & design.
These are strictly my only own observations and I am by no means a pro developer so I can be wrong. I'd love to hear more on this topic from a more experienced developer such as yourself.

SASS is a CSS preprosessor while bootstrap is a framework/template library. They have completely different use cases.

23,932 PointsYou are correct. But I guess my questions stems because I've seen on Twitter developers saying they'd prefer to use strictly Sass without Bootstrap and I'm wondering why and would like to know Guil's thoughts.
Bootstrap is a framework and Sass is a preprocessor but they are both used to manipulate the layout. Additionally, Bootstrap and Sass can be used together. I'm simply wondering Guil's preferred setup of choice. I know a lot of this is opinionated.
