Border Radius value?

Set border-radius to 5px. Now it said I got the value. Please help. Thanks.

Hi, I think you have to read the challenge properly. as for the first challenge, they were asking you to set the following: Create a pseudo-class selector that targets the first-child li in .main-nav. Remove all border styles by setting border to none set the top-left and bottom-left border-radius to 5px

Hence, the code should be :

.main-nav li:first-child{
  border:none;
  border-top-left-radius:5px;
  border-bottom-left-radius:5px;
}

for the second challenge its similar, try it yourself. Cheers :)

Hi Charles, the challenge says you have to put border-radius on the top-left and the bottom-left corner of the li.

On your answer you apply border-radius on all four corner of the li.

To apply different border-radius on different corners you have to write your code like this : 

.main-nav li:first-child {
  border: none;
  border-radius: 5px 0 0 5px;
}

As you apply margin or padding for each sides of an element, you have to go clockwises starting with the top-left corner.

   margin: top right bottom left;
   border-radius: top-left top-right bottom-right bottom-left;
