The phrase "camel case" just refers to a style of identifier construction where multiple words are combined and the first letter of each word other than the first is capitalized. Some examples: wasAccessed, totalExpenses, hoursBeforeSunset. The code example shown above does not contain any examples of camel case.

This is one of many odd names given to the various naming conventions used in different languages.
