2,236 PointsCan anybody explain to me why my if statement doesn't work? I thought you could use an isNaN statement like this?
// Collect input from a user
const num=parseFloat(prompt("Please provide a number"));
if(isNaN === num){
console.log(This is not a number
);
} else{
// Convert the input to a number
// Use Math.random() and the user's number to generate a random number const random = Math.floor(Math.random()*num)+1;
// Create a message displaying the random number
console.log(${random} is a number between 1 and ${num}
);
}

231,236 PointsIt looks like you're using "isNaN" as a value, but it's a function. The proper syntax to test a variable named "num" to see if it is not a number would be: isNaN(num)
