Python

can anyone suggest what I did wrong in this code

I tried it in PyCharm and it worked, however, not here, maybe the requirement is different in the challenge?

instances.py
def combiner(list):
    string = ""
    number = 0
    for member in list:
        if isinstance(member, int):
            number += member
        elif isinstance(member, str):
            string += member
    return string + str(number)

You're very close :-)

def combiner(list):
    string = ""
    number = 0
    for member in list:
        if isinstance(member, (float, int)): # change this line
            number += member
        elif isinstance(member, str):
            string += member
    return string + str(number)

Henrik, thank you so much!
