Can we get something better than task 1 no longer passing for syntax errors?

Seriously, this is about the most useless response for someone trying to learn coding. I need to know at least that there is a syntax error. Preferably that there is a syntax error on line "x". Even better would be, "You have a syntax error on line 'x'. The syntax error you made is...". We are all beginners here, you need to be telling us what we got wrong specifically. In a beginner course there should NEVER be a big red buzzer when something is wrong.

Seriously, you guys are way better than this sloppy implementation of tests.

Hi, Riaz! In my experience, Treehouse loves to get feedback from its students, which is why I think you should submit your suggestion directly to them. When you post to the Community you are (for the most part) addressing other students. We also encounter this error! If you want to make your voice heard to help improve the quality of the challenges, then I highly suggest you send a link to this post and any additional comments directly to help@teamtreehouse.com.

On a side note, there are other reasons for a "Task <number> is no longer passing" message, but a syntax error is the most common one.

Happy coding! :sparkles:
