C# ASP.NET MVC Basics Modeling and Presenting Data Using Strongly Typed Views

Can you explain why @model (lowercase 'm') is added to the top of the detail, but to use, it is uppercase 'M'odel.

For example, we reference "Model.DisplayText", and "Model.SeriesTitle" in the Detail.

@model (lowercase) is the derective that defines the class to be used as a model, but Model (capital "M") is a reference to the instance of the class that was passed in.

It can seem a bit counter-intuitive at first, I remember it took a while for me to get used to it.
