JavaScript JavaScript Basics Working with Strings Display the Value of a String on a Page

Can you use double quotation-marks, instead of single - which is used in Guil's video - to access the targeted element?

I am wondering this, because I prefer having consistency in my code - either I settle on double marks; or I settle on the single quotation-marks. I think having a mix is somewhat confusing.

JavaScript accepts both types of quotes interchangeably, as long as they are used in matched pairs.

And consistency in your own code is considered a "best practice"! :+1:

Absolutely, Buster Siem! I switch them up from time to time to remind you that you can use either type. But do keep an eye out for consistency. :)
