Can't create file

Can't create file under the Project 1 repo. As indicated by the video I right click the Project 1 after I open the project with the desktop github but the options are only: Open command prompt, show in explorer, remove.

Are you clicking on an existing file? You might see different options that way than if you click on the white space.

Right clicking on a white space doesn't bring any options, but no, I'm clicking on an existing repo and no options come up

You can just go to Atom, open the github project and create a new file. I had the same problem and that works fine for me
