Few problems here. First, your function has some needless code. The variable echo inside returnValue() isn't necessary, you can simply return drink;.

Second, it's asking you to place the results of the function into a variable called echo. I think this is where you got confused. Remember that this function returns a value, meaning it will send out a value when it is called. By simply running the function like this - returnValue( 'My argument' ); you're not catching the returned value from the function. You want to store its return value into something: the echo variable.

You can store results from functions using this example syntax -

var foo = myFunction('Argument');
