Databases Reporting with SQL Aggregate and Numeric Functions Counting Groups

Can't seem to get this, though I think I'm counting the numbers of books in each genre instead of each genre. How?

SELECT DISTINCT COUNT(genre) as total_genres FROM books GROUP BY genre;

In task 2, it's the genres you want to be unique, not the count itself. Also, you won't need to use grouping for this one.
