Your code works (as can be seen in the preview), but it's more specific than needed. The instructions ask you to "Use jQuery's :hidden pseudo selector and the show() method to display the hidden <li> elements", which can be more simply (and literally) accomplished with just this:

$("li:hidden").show(); // Show only hidden <li> elements

The extra specificity is probably just confusing the checking mechanism.
