I'm watching the course materials on chromecast most of the times, but when I mirror only my chrome tab to the TV is quite bad quality, an you add a native solution to the video player to mirror it through the chromecast?

CastBuddy chrome extension works on treehouse videos, and it's high quality (720p).
As an alternative to chromecast, check out the Asus Chromebit pc stick coupled with a bluetooth touch keyboard (I use this at work).
