Code Samples for a Front-End Developer

When I look at job postings online, I often see that they are looking for code samples for you to share. What exactly do they mean by this? Is it just examples of websites that you made? If you're hiring a front-end developer what sorts of code samples would you be looking for from that candidate?

Hey,

Try sites like GitHub that share your code and work for other people to explore and try, and ideally yes websites that contains good use of the code that they are wanting to hire for. E.g. A front end developer is very much html, css, javascript, jquery & maybe some photoshop based, so show off those skills through Github and any websites you have made yourself. Try googling "front end developed websites" or things along those lines to get a deeper understanding.

Hope this answers your question. :)
