Configuring phpstrom with mamp to create a contact form how to configure to run on port 8888

Hi, I'm creating a contact form and I'm having issues with configuring mamp with phpstrom

  1. where should I store my folders. right now it's in Donta/PhpstormProjects/ProjectsName?

  2. should I run it from Applications/Mamp/htdocs/projectname and why?

  3. how to build a secure contact form so that when i submit the form to google through smpt accepts it?

  4. what's the best way to install xdebug?
