Console

I coded along with this video. The popup appears asking my name and I fill it in, but when I go to More Tools, Developer Tools, Console, nothing appears in Console. I've saved all the files and it runs, I just can't see it.

It's hard to say without seeing your code. Are you making sure that you have a console.log() command to log any information that you need to the console?
