Console does not work

Hello I try to access the python shell as the video but the console does not work. When I type "python3 dictionaries.py" the shell does not run

Since the default version is 3, instead of "python3" you can just type "python".

Also when you give a file name, as in "python dictionaries.py", that causes the program in "dictionaries.py" to run. If you want an interactive shell, just type "python" by itself.
