Converting to a string

My code is not logging a string to the console. What am I doing wrong?

adding_methods.js 
class Student {
    constructor(gpa){
        this.gpa = gpa;
    }
  stringGPA() { let GPA =this.gpa;
               let string= GPA.toString();
    console.log(string);}
}

const student = new Student(3.9);

Have you called the function stringGPA() anywhere? You've created a Student, which runs the constructor and sets the gpa, but your code does not have a line that says student.stringGPA(). If the function isn't run, then it won't log anything to your console.

For the challenge, you are supposed to return the string, not log it in the console.

I'm having the same problem. I came up with the same code but I keep getting: Bummer: Whoops, the value returned from the stringGPA() method is not a string.

class Student {
    constructor(gpa){
        this.gpa = gpa;
    }
  stringGPA() {
    let GPA = this.gpa;
    let gpaToString = GPA.toString();
    console.log(gpaToString);
  }

}

const student = new Student("3.9");

student.stringGPA();
