Could not connect to MySQL server.

The installation process didn't work the same way for me. When I try to click on "Server Configuration," it says "Could not connect to MySQL server."

When I attempt to start up the server, the log says: 2014-06-09 15:09:14 - Checking server status... 2014-06-09 15:09:14 - Trying to connect to MySQL... 2014-06-09 15:09:15 - Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (10061) (2003) 2014-06-09 15:09:15 - Assuming server is not running

Your server should be installed and running before you try to connect. This message "Assuming server is not running" suggests that server is not running.
