Courses for creating custom LayoutManager for RecyclerView ?

Is Teamtreehouse planning to teach how to create our own custom LayoutManager for RecyclerView on Android ? because i can't find decent website that give the tutorial from the very basic. I found some project that build their own custom LayoutManager but it's hell lot of code and i dont know where to start and i dont know how the code flow.

Why i want to build custom LayoutManager ? Because i look some android UI design, sometimes formatted GIF on https://dribbble.com/. Theres many eyegasm Android UI designs there and one of my favorite is https://dribbble.com/shots/3593825-Android-Card-Slider-Preview-Open-Source. I realize that this kind of LayoutManager are not available from the stock LayoutManager. I take a look at their own custom LayoutManager code but i can't understand how it works.

And is it hard, very hard, or extremly hard to create our own custom LayoutManager ? Ben Deitch
