cPanel, SquirrelMail, & spam folder

Hi, I have an account with Web Hosting for Students and am hosting a web site for a friend while I learn front end coding.

At this point, the biggest challenge is managing his email!

How can I look through the emails that Spam Assassin labels as spam? I have looked through the documentation for cPanel and see reference to creating a "spam" folder in SquirrelMail and have done so. It also looks like the server administrator needs to create a Spam Box using WHM but I'm not sure. I opened a ticket with Web Hosting for Students and they only said that they did not provide WHM for students at this time. They did not bother to answer the larger question about how to examine the spam emails.

I did create the spam folder in SquirrelMail and it is empty. Also, I have Auto-Delete Spam disabled.

Thanks.
