Create a max() Function JavaScript Basics

Hi there,

How do I create max function with two arguments( two integers) in the parameter, and have the return value of the larger of the two numbers?

I only know to return the value as stated but how to I include a conditional statement for this one?

Thank you for helping.

Regards, Iris

script.js
function max( bigNumber, smallNumber) {
  return bigNumber;
}

:point_right: This might be a good place to use an if statement.

Based on a test, you might return one value if the test is true, and another value if it is false.

Hi Steven,

Yes I tried that and it worked! Thank you for helping!
