Not sure if you are terminating your code or if it's in a php opening tag, but it should look something like this.

<?php

$floatOne = 1.5;
$integerOne = 1;

$results = $integerOne * $floatOne;

echo $results;

?>

Question:Create a New Float Variable named $floatOne with a value of 1.5. Without changing the value of $integerOne or $floatOne, multiply $integerOne by $floatOne and display the results.

Issue: I used the same php opening tag and it didn't work. why is it still asking "Are you sure you multiplied correctly?"

<?php

//Place your code below this comment $integerOne = 1; $integerTwo = 2; $floatOne = 1.5;

$integerOne = $integerOne + 5; var_dump($integerOne);

$integerTwo = $integerTwo - 1; var_dump($integerTwo);

$results = $integerOne * $floatOne;

echo($results); ?>

Hello,

Try removing the parenthesis around $results.
