Create a new variable named favorite_color.

Hey Audrey,

The interpreter that you are writing your code into doesn't require you to refer to python.

favorite_color = "purple"

Is all that it's asking for.

As previously mentioned, there's no "python" function, nor is one needed. If you are not already running the Python IDE, you will give the command "python" by itself to start it up. Once it does, you can enter Python code directly.

Also, the string literal "purple" must be enclosed in quotes, but nothing else should be.
