design track order

Just a general question about the track order. I started with web development track, then switched over to web design track because I can grasp coding really well. What I need help with more is design. The question I have is: is it recommended to follow the track as laid out or could it be ok to jump to different courses and go back? For example, I'm about halfway through CSS beyond the basics, but I want to start learning more about how to plan and design a website and then go back to CSS which teaches me how to implement all that. So I'm tempted to skip to Design Foundations, Photoshop Foundations, and Illustrator Foundations, then go back to CSS.

The order is just a suggestion, complete the courses in whatever order suits you best. Your idea sounds good to me, learn the fundamentals before the practical side.

Some courses have perquisites, for example you should probably learn the basics of javascript before you start learning Ajax, but its really up to you :)
